Featuring several underground industry names such as Overture, Rhyot, Nailbiter, Decoder, and Aahan, the VA starts off with Barbosa's relentless opener 'Android' showcasing blistering acid synthesizer leads over erupting industrial percussive layers. As the lead track sets the tone for the label's sound, the former veterans build a dark and visceral landscape bringing out the raw and hypnotic side of techno, before the newcomers flex their unique signature sounds that are all somehow familiar with the roots of the genre. Bringing together artists from Canada, USA and Europe, Vol. I is the perfect release to have fans of rave music and techno looking forward to the future of the label and its live events.
